Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

WT Parker Group Services Limited, to include all trading companies is committed to driving out acts of modern day slavery and human trafficking from our business, and our supply chain as a whole.

Our supply includes supply of materials for mechanical, electrical and data installations, control panels and the provision of subcontracted services and use of agency labour.

Imported goods from sources from outside the UK and EU are more at risk from slavery/trafficking issues.
The company will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking. Checks are carried out by the agencies used on labour provided;

  • Via questionnaires
  • Inductions are carried out with all staff and contracts produced applicable to each employee.
  • All site staff work to the JIB or BESA handbook.

Where possible we establish long standing relationships with reputable suppliers and contractors, who themselves have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes, and we expect each organisation to adopt “one up/one down” due diligence checks along the supply chain.

We will adopt a zero tolerance policy to towards any supplier breaching the requirements of the act, and disciplinary action will be taken against anyone breaching the terms of the act.

Our processes are supported by our accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 and our in-house HR Department. All right to work checks are made at commencement of employment

The policy is supported by the Board of Directors who support the implementation of the policy which, together with the modern day slavery act, is available to all employees electronically and on the shared ‘Q’ drive, and is supported by a number of policies to include our code of ethics and whistle blowing policies.

This statement is made and complies with section 54(1) of The Modern Day Slavery Act 2015, and constitutes our Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
